Hey everyone! I'm about to pull the trigger on a sweet Ford F-150 I found online, but it's in Texas and I'm in Oklahoma. This will be my first time using an escrow service for a car purchase, specifically Auto VIP Escrow. The seller suggested it, and after looking at autovipe.com, it seems pretty solid for cross-state deals, especially with the funds being held securely until everything's squared away.
I'm curious about the whole process, especially for a cross-state transaction. How was the delivery coordination for those of y'all who've used them? Did the carrier handover go smoothly? I'm a bit nervous about a vehicle traveling that far, even though it's a truck and pretty robust. Any common pitfalls or things I should keep an eye out for when it comes to long-distance delivery with Auto VIP Escrow? Trying to avoid any first-time escrow mistakes.

I'd say communicate, communicate, communicate with your escrow agent! They were super responsive when I bought my Camry from Texas. Made the whole cross-state deal feel a lot less daunting.
